Dr. Joanne Rentmeester, OD, takes a personal approach to patient care. She specializes in comprehensive optometry and primary eye care for patients ages 3 and older. Her clinical interests include specialty contact lenses, such as gas permeable and scleral, and keratoconus management.
Dr. Rentmeester joined Medical Eye Associates in 2021. She is a native of Brookfield, Wisconsin, and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then completed her optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating with clinical honors.
In her free time, Dr. Rentmeester enjoys cooking with her husband, going on hiking adventures with their kids, and taking their labs swimming.
